Opening Transmission

This New Moon in Gemini arrives like a breath of fresh air. Invigorating, life-giving, and charged with the energy of new signal. It comes at a threshold moment: the final New Moon of spring, when the earth begins to warm in earnest and sweetness ripens on the vine. Known as the Strawberry Moon, this lunation reminds us that much like the first fruit to ripen, the strawberry, we can enjoy the sweetness while speaking life into what comes next. And what comes next is flexible, gentle, curious.

Gemini brings the archetype of the twins. The simplified, surface-level version sees two faces in opposition. That’s not truth. Two truths can, and often do, exist at once. Not contradiction, as conversation. This lunation opens space to hold that complexity: the soul and the body, the spark and the soil, the desire to move forward and the need to stay slow. These aren’t conflicts. They’re companions.

Mutable air invites us into motion to stretch into possibility. It gives us room to loosen mental knots, play, to shapeshift, to let the next truth emerge without needing to erase the last.

Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, is currently moving through earthy Taurus, conjunct Uranus. This pairing grounds our thoughts while shaking them loose from old grooves. Insight arrives as mental download and as a full-body knowing. This is a lunation for felt speech, for naming what’s true in the mind (beneath the fear, the ego, the rigidity), and in the bones, in the breath. It’s a time to declare, to speak, to cast spells rooted in your own inner alignment.

In the background, we’re moving through a sacred stretch of time. A window between the gathering of sparks and the arrival of clarity. A time for weaving, counting, integrating. A time for preparing ourselves to receive.

And so the invitation is simple, powerful, ancient: avrakadavra “as I speak, I create.” Words are not just expressions; they are instruments of becoming. They hold the power of world building. This is a moon for reworking the script, tuning the inner voice, and naming your next chapter aloud.

Speak to yourself the way you would a beloved. Look into your own eyes and call yourself forward.

There’s more beneath the surface.
Each moon letter carries deeper medicine, rituals, reflections, and quiet invitations to meet yourself through the light of the moon.

🌑 Living by the Moon

A rhythm check-in for the body, altar, and breath

Lately, I’ve been sitting in conversation with my own inner twins. The spirit that longs to run free and the body still needing slowness and tenderness. The part of me that remembers how infinite I am and the part tethered here, to this soft animal body, recovering in its own time. In this tension is a creative invitation, an exercise in mutable thinking. How do I meet the needs of both without abandoning either?

This lunation has been echoing the energy of the Four of Cups (one of my favorite in tarot). In the tarot, this card often shows a figure sitting beneath a tree, arms crossed, gazing at three cups arranged in front of them, some full, some spilled, some uncertain. Just above, a fourth cup hovers in the air, offered by an unseen hand. The message is not about lack, it’s about perspective. The need to shift our gaze, to soften our fixation on what’s known, and to notice what’s quietly arriving from a different angle, one we haven’t considered before. It’s a reminder to let go of the needs to focus so deeply that we don’t see what’s right in front of us, even when it’s divinely gifted.

That floating cup feels like the creative solution, the new pathway, the invitation to be open to speaking differently to what’s unfolding. Not everything we need is where we expect to find it

So this moon, I’m listening. I’m tuning my inner dialogue. I am open to the divine pathway that I could not have even imagined. I’m speaking to myself with care. Because if I believe words are spells, then how I speak to my own healing matters.

🌑 Gemini New Moon

🔮 Energetic Weather

A fresh breeze after a mental stillness. This lunation invites us to release rigid narratives, soften into spaciousness, and honor what wants to be said. It’s not about the perfect articulation. It’s about the willingness to tune in, to speak gently, to let language move energy.

Themes:

  • Duality as dialogue

  • Words as world-builders

  • Inner truth-telling

  • Curiosity as healing

  • Rooted flexibility

🜁 Elemental Focus: Air (with Earth infusion)

Gemini is air quick, clever, connective. With Mercury (its ruler) currently in Taurus and conjunct Uranus, there’s a strong pull to ground our thoughts into the body. To speak with our mouths, with our breath, with our bones, with our presence.

Altar Suggestions:

  • A hand mirror or reflective surface

  • A feather, bell, or wind chime (air + movement)

  • A grounding stone (like hematite or smoky quartz) or a small bowl of soil

  • Anointed oil for the throat chakra or vocal cords

  • Something sweet (a strawberry, a piece of honeycomb) as an offering to the voice

💬 Affirmation

“I honor both the voice that whispers and the one that roars.”

✍️ Journal Prompt

What do my inner twins (my body and my spirit) need from me right now? How can I honor them both without abandoning either?

If this lunar letter resonates, consider passing it on to someone.
A quiet forward or thoughtful share can ripple farther than you think.
